Dance Tip
Head Spotting while turning:  Much debated.  The majority of the time I encourage followers to spot the leader while turning.  Whether it's Hustle or West Coast Swing, it's the leader to determines the dynamics of the pattern following the turn.  The follower can not only keep a reference of the slot by seeing the leader but also see a hint of the the movement to come.

New York
Lots of changes!!  First, I am no longer associated with Empire Dance but I am starting my own independent classes in WCS and Hustle (EMail me if you are interested in classes).  Second, I will be hosting the next Platinum Party in conjunction with the Gotham Swing Club on Fri Sept 16 at You Should Be Dancing (information here) I am very available for privates and the next Class Night Out at the Saloon is on Wed, Sept 21.  If you are interested in West Coast Swing or Hustle classes or privates email me here.

Connecticut
I'm now living in Westport, CT, which means I have easy access to the southern and central Connecticut region.  I'm planning on starting a WCS night in Fairfield CT on Saturday, October 8, so look out for it...I'll definitely need you to support the new endeavor.  If you are interested in privates in CT, email me here.

New Jersey
I just taught a workshop in Edison, NJ for the Brandis Dance.  It was a fun party and I'll be back on Fri, Sept 23.  I would like to make NJ a regular stop once every 2 weeks.  Let me know if you're interested  to schedule privates in NJ.

Massachusetts and Rhode Island
I went to MA in August and spent most of the evening teaching privates.  Then I went to Arlington's WCS night and had a blast.  So, I'm doing it again on Thurs, Sept 29. Let me know if you'd like to schedule time to work on your WCS or Hustle while I'm in MA.

Pennsylvania
I'll be at Top Hat's Spirit of the Dance performance on Sept. 11.  The PA crowd really knows how to party...especially at Michaels on Tuesday nights for Hustle night.  After getting 2 flat tires in one day, a bunch of privates and an amazing night of dancing...I am DEFINITELY going back on Tuesday, Sept. 13.  Let me know if you want to work on your Hustle or West Coast Swing while I'm in PA.
